Harvest Season: Kenya’s Hass avocado harvest season begins in March and extends through November.
Export Market: Kenyan Hass avocados are mainly exported to the EU, Middle East, and CIS countries, with the EU being the largest market.
Farming Practices: Most Kenyan farmers use the Puebla avocado as rootstock and graft the Hass variety, which is favored for its longer shelf life and suitability for export
